GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND DISCLAIMER

Registration/ Payment  Schedule

Participants can register to any of the courses and continuing education seminars offered by the BackBone-Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic and Healing Arts – from here on short BackBone-Academy – online by using the registration form. By registering, participants approve the general terms and conditions. The participant can register until the registration deadline set by the BackBone-Academy. After this date, registrations may be refused. Registrations are accepted after confirmation through the BackBone-Academy and only after receiving the course fee indicated in the description of the checked course or continuing education offering. The due time frame for payment is four weeks prior to course or module or seminar start.

The participant agrees that his data are stored electronically and he will be informed by e-mail about other continuing education offerings. 

Course Fees

All indicated course and seminar fees are gross prices. BackBone-Academy is officially recognized as institution of education in Germany , so no sales tax in the price is included.  The fees are indicated in EURO and exclude any travel and subsistence expenses such as hotel costs. An interrupted course can be continued without additional charge at a follow-up course. A refund of fees for unvisited modules according to the cancellation policy is possible and will be meaning to lose the total number discount. 

Change or Cancellation

The BackBone - Academy reserves the right of changes or cancellations of programs, events, locations, instructors or participants without prior notice. In the case of a cancellation, BackBone-Academy is required to refund any fees for not visited events that have already been paid. Any additional claims by participants are excluded. In any case, an immediate notification is made to registered participants.  

Copyright

On all BackBone-Academy material offered to participants during courses, modules or seminars the BackBone-Academy holds ownership and intellectual property.  Any reproduction of the documents - also for internal use of the material - is linked to the BackBone Academy's prior written consent.

Cancellations by Participants

Cancellation requests need to be sent in writing. As long as BackBone-Academy receives a cancellation request no later than four weeks before the start of the continuing education offering, participants can withdraw from their registration for any reason and fees already paid will be reimbursed in case of timely cancellations. A processing fee of € 50,-- can be charged.  

Cancellation fees for courses/modules and seminars

4 weeks until 1 weeks prior to start 50%, later participants are liable for the full fee.

However, your registration can be transferred to a suitable substitute participant.

Contents of  Online Offerings

The BackBone - Academy assumes no responsibility for the topicality , correctness , completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author which refer to damages of material or immaterial nature caused by use or disuse of the presented information or by the use of faulty and incomplete information are excluded unless they were caused by intentional or grossly negligent actions of the BackBone-Academy.  All offers are not-binding and without obligation. The author reserves itself it expressly to change parts of the pages or the entire offer without separate announcement to supplement to delete or the publication temporarily or permanently.
